Confidential - Audit of hazardous waste transfer station
In order to fulfil its waste management Duty of Care BE was commissioned by a manufacturer to undertake an audit of the recipient of its hazardous waste. Audit trails for a sample of waste Consignment Notes were followed to ensure the waste was correctly described, received, stored and treated etc. An inspection of the site was made to ensure it was operated in accordance with its Waste Management Licence, without causing pollution or a threat to health.
